No, not your fault. <F2><Tab> will go to the next item to be renamed, regardless of the rename_nav setting. rename_nav can add cursor up/down next to <tab> to go to the next item. It can't disable <tab> in inline-renaming.

In everything 1.5, when moving a file, the original file remains in the previous folder, just like when copying. What could be the reason for this? I see the discussion about the possibility of there being a bug in Everything.

Any changes you make in Everything before exiting Everything will not be stored in your backup. I recommend exiting Everything before making a backup. This I understand.

But I am using '83a (image in earlier post in this thread) which is four version numbers BEYOND 79a.
