I'm sorry if this has already been posted or discussed but I couldn't find anything.
I have just started to play with indexed folders in Everything and finding it very useful. My only niggle is that I seem to have to wait for the folder to be indexed before I can search for files in my existing local NTFS drives (e.g. C:).
It would be really useful to me if Everything would start returning results before all drives and folders were fully indexed.
This would also help where I have multiple local NTFS drives. I would like Everything to start returning results from my smaller C: drive before my much larger E: drive has been fully indexed.
Show results as they are indexed
Re: Show results as they are indexed
Maybe I didn't understand what you mean but are using using Tools=>Options=>Indexes=>Folders=>add your drives
If you want to search your local drives you should use the Tools=>Options=>Indexes=>enable all of the options below "Settings for Local Disk"(Include USN Journal in recent &changes is only if you want it)for all of your drives.
This will make the result appear much faster and it will monitor for changes

Re: Show results as they are indexed
Currently Everything must build the entire index before you can search it for performance reasons.
I have plans to improve adding and removing indexes without the need to rebuild the entire index.
