Expand and constrict the columns like Windows Explorer
It's more comfortale when the list is also moving whithin the border of title of column.

I didn't even realize Explorer did anything like that.
Well, what it does, it does poorly at that.

Re: Expand and constrict the columns like Windows Explorer
Are you talking about Auto-Fit option?
I'm talking about the dragging: when I'm dragging the border of the column, I want what is in the list would be dragged too like in Windows Explorer.

Yes.

I'm not understanding then?
The crosshairs (or whatever they may be called) are there, but I'm not following what is supposed to happen to happen to them when you drag them?
Or do you mean you want to rearrange the column order, like putting Type before Size?
Yes.

Re: Expand and constrict the columns like Windows Explorer
I thought it is very simple to understand ... just need to compare (Everything and WExplorer) what happens when you drag the border of the column, to make the column wider or narrower.
Do you notice the difference now?

Re: Expand and constrict the columns like Windows Explorer
Don't know how it is on anything other than on WinXP but the only difference I see is when the windows option "Show window contents while dragging" is not enabled(when it is,it's absolutely the same in WE and Everything)
When the option is not enabled,in WE you see a long line while resizing the column but in Everything,it is as long as the column(20px)

Re: Expand and constrict the columns like Windows Explorer
Thank you vsub, this fixed my problem.
I needed to disable and enable it again to get it work properly. (I don't know what was the problem. this checkbox was already checked).
IMHO this is a bug of Everything, because this checkbox is for something else. (It does not affect WE columns dragging, for example).

I've never had that enabled on my end, so never saw it.

Re: Expand and constrict the columns like Windows Explorer
Here is another problem that will appear if that option is not enabled
