Yes, there is a way that you can search for text in the files.
I code a script in Windows, ".bat", that allow to search with Search Everything in files for text.
It is very easy, is adding to the file the word that Everything read in file list to each line of our file.
If you need it, I post it.

Searching file contents will be available in the next release via the content: search function.

Content is not indexed so can be very slow for large files.
However, content searching small text files is almost instant.

What file types (extensions) the content search would be implemented for?

Since content search is always slow without indexing first, would be nice to see this feature as 2+ step process:
a) on the 1st step one would search for keywords in file and folder names only. Once search results are posted, then
b) they can either be further narrowed by changing the title keywords and searching them only in listed in the results file names, or
c) content search is done only among the files listed in the results
d) also a user should be able to manually click-select several files in the search results to search a given content only within these files.

Does "multilingual" mean content search could be done in several languages - which ones?

Of course, without indexing content.
