Can you apply a bookmark to the current location or append

Post by mydarkpassenger »

I was wondering if there's a way to set a bookmark to apply to the current location in the search or append to the current directory? For example, to filter criteria to the current date and such easily.

Do you mean something along the lines of a "Send To Bookmark" feature?

Anyhow, you can set up a Bookmark, with a starting directory location & find files "today".

rc:today C:\DOCS\Andromeda Project\

I mean I'd like to be able to use the current directory I'm already in and apply some filtering. For example, say I'm in D:\downloads I'd like the bookmark to know I'm in that directory and add rc:today to it.

Please try setting the bookmark search to:

Code: Select all

d:\downloads\ rc:today
You may want filters instead of bookmarks, as filters will not change the search text.
To add a filter: from the Search menu, click Add to filters... and set the search to:

Code: Select all

d:\downloads\ rc:today
The filter can be selected from the Filter bar, Search menu, right clicking the status bar or a filter keyboard shortcut.
