index mounted drive?

I have an external drive attached to my desktop, and mounted on my Windows 10 laptop. I want everything to index the mounted drive (G:), in addition to the C: and D: drives on my laptop. What do I need to do to make that happen?

Is it NTFS?

If so, Tools | Options -> NTFS afford any possibilities?
If not, Folder Indexing.
