When editing a filename (using F2) that is listed in the results panel, the usual caret stops found in the equivalent feature of Windows does not function. That is, [CTRL+left arrow] and [CTRL+right arrow] do not stop at, for example, periods. It would be better if F2 worked the same as in Windows.
Just a note, no biggie. Thanks.
Caret stops when editing filenames
Re: Caret stops when editing filenames
F2 (rename) can be set to include, or not, the file extension.
Options | Results -> Do not select extension when renaming
(And I think you can change, via everything.ini, where they cursor position is set.)
Otherwise, myself, don't know that I'd want action keys available?
