Stale result impedes operation

When I tried to move files found by Everything to another folder, nothing happened. Turns out that one of the results was a stale entry from an unplugged external disk that is not online.

Suggestion: Move the ones that are online, and don't do anything for the stale results.

Most likely, the same sort of thing happens when you run into "too long path" issues.

Do you have "Automatically remove offline volumes" (under Tools > Indexes > NTFS) checked?

@SuperDude: The problem is not whether that option is checked. Rather, if a stale link is displayed for any reason, the behavior is confusing.
