Ways to make File List mode more noticeable

Post by Stamimail »

File List mode = after opening .efu file by Open File List...

It is already been said that File List mode needs to be more noticeable, not only by the text in status bar.

I was thinking about:
1. Adding Text in Caption. Like: "term to search - Everything (713b) - File List mode (Not monitored)"
2. Adding like a PopUp bar under the Search Box and Above the Results. This bar will show text: "File List mode (Not monitored)".
3. Changing the Background color (of Results)

BTW,
Another thing to be considered is to add to:
Options > Fonts and Colors > Item state
more 2 colors (Background color for a line) for:
A. Scheduled monitored (Indexes > File Lists)
B. Not monitored results (Indexes > Folders)
These 2 colors are for the normal mode.

Definitely a different font and color state, which is on my TODO list.

I also plan to add more font and color states for folder indexes and offline files.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I understand now it can be done by adding a new line for File List mode for customizing:

But I would say it's better to wait with this, and see after font and colors implementation if it is still necessary.

Added to my TODO list, the status bar text showing the current file list filename could be colorized too.

Thanks for the suggestion.
