Please try deleting your Everything.db file in %APPDATA%\Everything

Use Everything to search for, Everything.db, as it probably exists somewhere.
If using the portable version, perhaps in the same directory as Everything.exe.

(Strange, perhaps, that the .ini & .db would not be together?)

Or are you saying that you cannot run Everything, currently?

Try renaming, everything.ini too (to something like, everything.ini.OLD).

Please try deleting your Everything.db in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everything and deleting your Everything.db in the same location as your Everything.exe.

Yes, I am.
I'm unable to search using Everything cause it can't be lauched (hang immediatelly after launch).
I use default version (not portable).
There is no such directory %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everything (I copy-paste it to open the path and it gives error Can't find...)
Here is contents of that folder:
http://storage6.static.itmages.ru/i/16/ ... 7d92a6.png

There is no file Everything.db in folder where Everything.exe is installed:
http://storage1.static.itmages.ru/i/16/ ... 25794c.png

I have changed ini-file as you said and it doesn't help. :(

Is your user name, "temp1"?
If so, then Local might be a hidden directory?

If I check "Show hidden files" there is no any hidden "Local" / "Everything" directories and "Everything.db" files.
Paths like %LOCALAPPDATA% and %APPDATA% are opened even if they would be hidden...

Try the "portable" version of Everything.

Unzip.
Click on Everything.exe.
Don't worry if no results are returned, just see if the UI opens.
If that works, then either right-click Everything.exe & 'Run as administrator' & see if that causes your disks to scan & files to show up, or set Everything to use the Service, in the GUI.

If the UI does not even come up, reboot your computer into Safe Mode & try again.

So after rebooting your computer into Safe Mode, then rebooting normally, the installed version of Everything is now working as expected ?
