'Always show search suggestions' conflict 'Ctrl+F'
'Always show search suggestions' conflict 'Ctrl+F'
Can't Ctrl+F for for SelectAll in Search when suggetions list displayed.
Re: 'Always show search suggestions' conflict 'Ctrl+F'
In Everything.ini, what is the value of the preference, search_edit_focus_search_edit_keys= ?
Is that value used elsewhere in Everything.ini?
(And not quite following, why would select all be Ctrl+F rather then Ctrl+A?)

search_edit_focus_search_edit_keys=326,114,580
I find "326,114,580" just once.
Ctrl+F gives you a one hotkey for both Focus Search and SelectAll.
The concept is like saying "please Find" by the hotkey and type right away the search term, no matter where the current focus is (Especaily good when you're switching to Everything window).
Edit:
SelectAll = Select All Text In Search Box

Shortcut keys will currently not work when the suggestions drop down is shown. This is by design, I'll review this for Everything 1.5.
Re: 'Always show search suggestions' conflict 'Ctrl+F'
I use <Tab> for that. When you want to "escape" the suggestion list (back to the search bar), <Tab> twice.Stamimail wrote:[..] (Especaily good when you're switching to Everything window).
