There are no search results in a VMWare Fusion Virtual Machine.
I have tried in VMWare XP and VMWare Windows 7.

Does "Everything" have admin privileges?
Is there at least one NTFS volume?
Are there any errors reported in your Errorlog.txt file in your "Everything" installation folder?

I discoverd that in tools->options->no drives were selected.
Once I selected my local drive...viola...the results flow like water!

Normally "Everything" includes all NTFS volumes by default.
"Everything" 1.2.1.371 will exclude a volume if it encounters an error (this includes access denied errors due to limited privileges).
If you run "Everything" with out admin privileges you will need to manually re-include each NTFS volume.
