Hi everyone,
Just want to thank the devs for this awesome program. You made my life much easier
Here's a suggestion I'd like to see implemented:
As the title, drag and drop a file into Eveything (anywhere in the window frame would be nice) to search for any file with same name.
Thank you

Re: Drag and drop a file into ESE to search for any file with same name
Added to my TODO list: an option to drag drop files and search for just the name part.
Thanks for the suggestion.
There is an option in Everything now that will search the entire path and filename of a file dropped on the search box, to enable this option:

Re: Drag and drop a file into ESE to search for any file with same name
Will it have to be a "file" or can it be any "text" dragged from anywhere into Everything?

drag and drop a file into Everything, can be lots of things.
Also to consider:
- drop zone
- taskbar button

Allowing text to be dropped on Everything would be useful. Also added to my TODO list.
For example what happens with both text and files are in the drop object..
The file would probably override the text, however this would not be clear to the user.
I'll try to use an option like the search_edit_drag_accept_files where it will need to be turned on.
I've tried to avoid drag dropping in Everything as I do not want to confuse the user between dropping files in folders for some other action.drag and drop a file into Everything, can be lots of things.
