Congrats for this great app. This is the best windows app I've ever seen!
I have a linux file server with ext3 and currently I kill all of my win machines and install Ubuntu.
My greatest concern is how I will use file search. Currently Everything is the tool I use to locate every file I use. I have made a filename "policy" for myself to be able to find the files fast, and it works. I use the filename as a list of tags related to the file. It is very very effective for me. It was OK in windows, but what's next?
My question is:
- do you plan to port ES for Ubuntu?
- do you plan to implement search in ext3?
Thanks!

Re: linux, ubuntu, ext3
My votes too for a linux port
I would like to see everything search working in linux for both ext and ntfs volumes

Re: linux, ubuntu, ext3
I use linux alot too, so having "everything" instead of locate would be utterly great, BUT
i think this tool uses the volume bitmap for finding files and AFAIK linux does not use such thing and
therefore we cannot get the same speed. Also, it uses the folder watch API and never seen such API for linux.
So even if david would port it, im not sure it is even posssible.
