Should New Window Inherit Filter Setting?

Should a New Window Inherit the Filter Setting of its predecessor?

I mean it does, but more is that what one would expect? Or should it be reset to None?

I've had Filter set to /Folder/, but then would open a new window to perform a more generic search & would have to change the Filter each time.

The filter setting should be temporary.

I will consider making this an option, with new windows not inheriting the old windows filter settings by default.

Just a quick note to support this idea. Perhaps another check box similar to "Remember last search" such as "Remember last filter" in the options>>advanced settings.
