Cant find text inside .pdf

Hi, Im using the option content:"my text here" to search text inside some pdf files. It works with some words but it doesn't with others.
Im also using Agent Ransack, doing the same search and it find the all the text queries on those same pdf files.

Here is a screenshot:

Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?

Thats not a bug but a limitation of the content function.
Agent Ransack uses any installed IFilter for PDF content which is not the case with Everythings content search.

I see, thanks for the reply.
Is there any way to remove that limitation? (other than just using another program ) Like installing and telling Everything to use another filter for PDF search?

Everything uses the associated iFilter to search PDF content.

Please make sure you are using the x64 version of Everything.

Please try running Everything as a standard user:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab on the left.
• Check Everything service.
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Click OK.
• Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
• Restart Everything.

Currently, in Everything, the adobe iFilter will not work on Windows 7 with Adobe Reader 11.

You'll need Windows 10, or Adobe Reader 9.x.

I've added this to my Things to fix list.

You may try PDFlib TET PDF IFilter, its free for Home desktop use and works fine for me since Windows 7 and now in Windows 10.

I tried this some time ago (thanks to your suggestion in another thread ), but couldn't get the PDF iFilter work as a preview handler (now using SumatraPDF for previews instead).

Did you get that working somehow?

Yes, for me its works the same as SumatraPDF which I also have.

I may not be much better but it is free and I don't use Adobe at all.
