Can not search a drive without drive name

Post by Ryan Wei »

I mean, by Microsoft's suggestion, you can expand the drive C by mounting a partion into a folder. But then Everything will not work for this folder. Nothing can be found out.

For example, I like a new disk without any disk name. But I still can use it by mounting it to a flolder like D:\Temp. I can open D:\Temp normally. But Everything will not serach this folder D:\Temp anymore.

I expect Everything will search all the disks, not just the disks can be seen in Explorer. Thank you for your marvellous software. Microsoft should buy all these technics... :D

Assume you're using .371?
Try "Everything" version 1.2.1.451a.

That should find SUBST drives.

It works perfectly, thanks!
Yes I used the one of home page. Wow, more functions can be seen as well. I can say bye bye to windows 7's search now.

1 more suggestion, if Everything can tell which 2 files have completely the same file size. That will be more easy for me to find out the duplicate files. Imagine more and more people will have more than 10TB disk space soon. Just a kidding, anyway, Everything is the future. Everybody should use Everything.
