User settings gone after recent update

Today Everything automatically updated to the following version: Version 1.4.1.988 (Tuesday, 4 August 2020).
Now all (shortcuts, excluded files, ticked setting checkboxes, custom colors) my user settings are gone except for my filters and bookmarks.

Sorry to hear Everything has wiped your settings.

This usually occurs when you change the "Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything" setting.

Please check if you have a backup of your Everything.ini, you may wish to search for this file in Everything.
Check if any Everything.ini contains your shortcuts/excluded files/custom colors

To load Everything.ini files:

• In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
  /config_load
• Select your Everything.ini file and click Open.
• Restart Everything to apply all settings.

I fixed it manually on the same day by reimplementing my settings. The only existing backup files are those from after I did that.

But thank you for the reply. I now know how to fix this if it ever happens again.
