Show resulting filters from an Advanced search inline

Post by Coldblackice »

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when doing an advanced search, there are some search properties that don't get inserted inline into the search box after the advanced-search window closes. This has a negative impact for two reasons:
  1. It can become confusing afterward since there's no visible indication of some of these filters still being applied. If they were all injected inline in the search box, however, it would be obvious why search results were displaying the way they are.
  2. It's super useful how the advanced search injects some of the filters inline afterward since this helps teach the user how to manually use those filters next time without needing the advanced-search window.
Would it be possible to have all advanced-search properties inserted into the search box afterward? Or at the very least, have some visible indication somewhere which filters are still being actively applied?

Filters can be made visible through Menu:View > Filters.
The filter bar will be shown next to the search bar when enabled.

Note: Not all filters have a matching macro and therefor can't be shown in the search bar.

Edit:
If a filter - not being the Everything filter - is enabled, it will also be shown in Everything's statusbar.
