Or browse the folder in the software and go back to the previous folder?

To enable file-drop support on the search box:
  • In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
    /search_edit_drag_accept_files=1
  • If successful you should see search_edit_drag_accept_files=1 in the status bar for a few seconds.
To enable search history:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the History tab on the left.
  • Check Enable Search History.
Searches are added to your search history when you press ENTER from the search box or perform an action on a result.
Press Alt + Left Arrow to go back to a previous search.

Please try copying and pasting the following text into your Everything search box:

Code: Select all

/search_edit_drag_accept_files=1
After pasting this text into the Everything search box, press ENTER.
If successful you should see search_edit_drag_accept_files=1 in the status bar for a few seconds.

After pressing the Enter key, there is still no response. Is there a feasible installation package? Or can you send me the debugged everything? Thank you very much

What version of Everything are you running?

Are you running Everything as administrator? Then:
void wrote: Wed Feb 17, 2021 12:37 am I recommend running Everything as a standard user:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the General tab on the left.
  • Check Everything service.
  • Uncheck Run as administrator.
  • Click OK.
  • Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
  • Restart Everything.
