analyzing hard disk space distribution

i think use everything for analyzing hard disk space distribution is a fast and good idea instead most visualized disk analyzing softwares which scan disk for a very long time now

if this function can be in next version of everything, that is wonderful

How do you do this? Everything has to read every directory record to pick up the size and that is not nearly as fast as getting the name and type directly from the file system.
