I would like to suggest a feature which lets you to select a directory in the results list and which then removes hits from that directory from the results.
In other words, this feature adds a "NOT <directory>" to the search argument. It would be very useful to filter extensive results.
(Similarly, there could be a corresponding feature which shows results only from the chosen directory.)

- ---You can now right click folders and click Add to temporary excludes.
- Save as above,

"Temporary Excludes" would be very welcome. However its usage is different to my suggestion.
On one hand, temporary Excludes is to limit the range of folders to be searched.
On the other hand, my suggestion to use the results list to choose the excluded folder is designed to tidy up a large number of hits.

Just NOT it.
I use 'Match Path' a lot.
So if I have a search, 'ext:txt', hits from $Recycle.Bin are apt to turn up.
So I simply NOT it, 'ext:txt !\$recy' is sufficient to knock those out.
Similarly, I often start with a broad brush.
'cycl'
That turns up; recycle, bicycle, cyclic, cycle...
So then I leave the 'cycl' part there, & add to it, say bicycle, so,
'cycl bicycle'
That gets me my bicycles. And when I'm done with bicycles, I NOT it.
'cycl !bicycle'
Then my list is truncated of anything 'bicycle'.
And I add to it again,
'cycle !bicycle recy'
That finds my recycle entries. Again, when done, NOT it.
'cycle !bicycle !recy'
I've now truncated my list of anything 'bicycle' or 'recy'.
And I go on like that, each time paring down my original 'cycle' list.

(Not sure if I understand this correctly, but ..)
That is how Temporary Excludes functions: right-click a folder in the result list and choose Add to Temporary Excludes.
All the results from that folder and below are no longer shown in the list.
If you want to limit your results to jsut one folder from the result list, just drag that foldername to the serach bar and only the content of that folder will be shown, including subfolders.
These features require Everything 1.5.

somehow i forgot (or most likely: didn't knew) about this feature, thank you
i'm gonna use it from time to time
the possibility to go back to the previous 'result list' (using the 'history > back' command) is especially useful
