Overlay Icons too large

Is it possible to reduce the size of the overlay icon (or turn it off completely within Everything, I still want to keep it in explorer)?
It takes up half of the actual thumbnail.

Even the same is the issue with windows short cuts, the shortcut icon overlay is too big:

Unfortunately, the overlay icon size cannot be reduced in Everything 1.4.

To disable the overlay icon in Everything 1.4:

• In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
  /thumbnail_overlay_icon=0
• If successful, thumbnail_overlay_icon=0 should be shown in the status bar for a few seconds.

The overlay icon is much smaller in Everything 1.5 (in development) and the position and size can be customized.

Excellent! that solves my issue, what I like more is that the overlay icon still appears in list view so I can still differentiate between shortcuts and files. cool.
