Options > Sort by Creation Date > Wee Lag (Querying) Each Time I Open

Hi,

Have the Date Created column showing, and wind up clicking it as that's my most used way of handling things.

Just discovered I could make that default at:

Tools > Options > Home > Sort

Since having done that, each time I open Everything there's a wee lag. It once had EVERYTHING there, BOOM! Upon opening. Now, since having set the default sort as noted above, it always opens all blank. Shows (Querying) at the lower left. Takes several seconds to load.

What do you think is happening?

Date Created is not indexed, by default.
You can index it though; Tools | Options | Indexes -> Index date created.

After enabling Tools | Options | Indexes -> Index date created,
please also enable Tools | Options | Indexes -> Fast date created sort.

--This will make sorting by date created instant and persistent.
