I have to check, every so often, whether a a new file has been created. I can do this easily with everything but I would like to be alerted (in real time) if a file has been created in a particular directory or directories.
I'm looking at several monitoring programmes but I'm wondering if this could be setup with Everything?
This comes from the fact that there are some programmes, while legit, download other files during the installation process.

Is it only during the installation, or also during the program (startup) runtime?
