I may have asked before, I can't remember but is there a way of moving the status bar from the bottom right corner?
Thanks
is there a way of moving the status bar from the bottom right corner
Re: is there a way of moving the status bar from the bottom right corner
Toolbars can be vertically positioned with toolbar_pos, statusbar_pos and menu_pos.
For example: to show the statusbar above the menu bar:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=0
For example: to show the statusbar above the search bar:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=15
For example: to show the statusbar below the search bar:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=25
To restore the status bar position:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=-10
For example: to show the statusbar above the menu bar:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=0
For example: to show the statusbar above the search bar:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=15
For example: to show the statusbar below the search bar:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=25
To restore the status bar position:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/statusbar_pos=-10
Re: is there a way of moving the status bar from the bottom right corner
Thanks, I tried to get it above the menu bar with /statusbar_pos=0 but that just puts it above the search bar, the same as /statusbar_pos=15
Some other questions.
1. Is it possible to move the (I don't know what it's called, maybe status) box on the far right to the far left so it appears first in the status bar? Could I also change the colour of the box to show when it is active so that it stands out as I often forget when something is enabled?
2. Possible to move just just the box to the top whilst leaving the status bar at the bottom
3. Possible to move the status bar so that it appears in the (again, not sure what it's called) in the blue line at the very top?
I'm using 1.5

Re: is there a way of moving the status bar from the bottom right corner
The stock Windows menubar cannot be repositioned. Thanks, I tried to get it above the menu bar with /statusbar_pos=0 but that just puts it above the search bar, the same as /statusbar_pos=15
Please use a dark theme or set a custom menubar color (from Tools -> Options -> Fonts and colors -> Menu -> Background color) to use a custom menubar.
I call them status parts.1. Is it possible to move the (I don't know what it's called, maybe status) box on the far right to the far left so it appears first in the status bar? Could I also change the colour of the box to show when it is active so that it stands out as I often forget when something is enabled?
Everything always shows them on the right.
I will consider an option to show them on the left.
The text color cannot be changed.
I will consider an option to set the text color.
Currently, no.2. Possible to move just just the box to the top whilst leaving the status bar at the bottom
Currently, no.3. Possible to move the status bar so that it appears in the (again, not sure what it's called) in the blue line at the very top?
Re: is there a way of moving the status bar from the bottom right corner
Thanks, the box being on the left would be better for my line of sight and the change of colour would be a good reminder.
I quite like the idea of the status bar at the very top (in the blue bar) as it saves a little bit of room in an area which is, by and large, wasted.
