I've been meaning to use Parent Cut while organizing media, where each piece of media lives in its own unique folder accompanied by metadata and other files. I can use Everything to view the media thumbnails and metadata. However, it appears I cannot use Parent Cut (nor Parent Copy) on multiple objects at the same time. The clipboard is only populated with a single folder object.
Could you please allow Parent-Cut and Parent-Copy to populate the clipboard with all selected object's parents? Could you please de-duplify as needed should multiple objects share the same parent.
Could you add 'Parent Folders > Cut' and 'Parent Folders > Copy' to the context menu for multiple selected objects.
Feature creep: Mayhaps a 'View Clipboard' option to the Edit menu to make it easier to peek at the clipboard contents before committing to an action. I've been using an AutoHotkey script that lets me cheat.

Re: Parent Cut / Copy does not work for multiple items
Parent Folders -> Cut/Copy is on my TODO list.
Thank you for the suggestion.
I'll try to get something working for the next alpha update.. (just a hdrop object on the clipboard)

Re: Parent Cut / Copy does not work for multiple items
For clarity, I've been using the Options > Keyboard > 'Result List | Parent | Cut' custom keyboard shortcut successfully. Just one-item-at-a-time. Multiple selected items are ignored by this key binding.

This is expected.Multiple selected items are ignored by this key binding.
I have not added support for this yet.
Re: Parent Cut / Copy does not work for multiple items
Everything 1.5.0.1286a adds support for Parent Folders -> Cut/Copy.
