Folder Search Is Highlighted, Don't Want It To Be

Hi David,

I've recently upgraded from 1.2.1.375 to 1.2.1.442, Wow , what a list of changes.

One thing I've found, and I have searched for a resolution, is when right-clicking a folder and selecting Search Everything..., the Everything window that pops up has the folder selection highlighted, with the cursor at the far right following a single space.

How do I (can I) remove/stop the highlight so I can immediately type a further selection criteria, without first pressing the right arrow to remove the highlight from the selection.

Apologies if this has been covered and explained before.

Fixed for the next release of "Everything".

-filename, -path and -parentpath will move the cursor to the end of the search string and no longer highlight the text.
-search will highlight the text.

uhmm so pity, I realised how much I use this program... now I'm wondering whether to use 371 or the last version just because of this. I don't know what highlighting the folder search argument can be useful for...

Guys, I don't think much is happening with the program.

The author hasn't been to the board for over two years! That pretty much tells you that what you have is what you're stuck with.

You should use, "Everything" version 1.2.1.451a.
