Hi Team,

Scenario:
as attached, for some testing purpose, i choose "Sleep" option for my laptop and go to sleep, this morning, i open my laptop and it freeze(probably the hardware issue, because it occurred previously)->so i have to shut down by clicking the on/off button manuall->open my laptop again, this time it successfully, and found Everything application go back to the initial status as just installed done, means: without the setting/run history/search history etc.

Question:
how can it happen? can Everything application be more robust in such a scenario?

Expectation:
keep stable in kind of special scenario without data missing.

Thanks for the consideration & possible fulfilment.

If you haven't exited out of Everything yet, could you please send your Run History and Search History files to support@voidtools.com
(even if these files appear blank)

If your system is not stable or is not shutting down correctly, please try enabling flush_file_buffers:
  • Copy and paste the following into the Everything search box:
    /flush_file_buffers=1
  • Press ENTER in the Everything search box.
  • If successful, flush_file_buffers=1 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
This may help data reach the disk.
