Search item not selected option

I have a short cut to start everything from the command line at a particular path using Everything.exe -path <path>. The search path is shown in the search bar but is selected. In an earlier version, there was an option to NOT have the text selected and the cursor moved to the end after a space to enable me to enter another term. I cannot find this option now.

How do I have the search term un-selected and caret moved to the end after a space?
