Steps:
Select lots of files (200 in my example).
Use File -> Delete to delete them
Everything locks up and the files are not deleted.

Tell us about the files. Anything special?
(looking at my end, /ISO/sources/license/... - no)
(heh. looking at the directory names, they sure appear to be odd, but sure enough, that is what they are .)
Tell us about J:. Is that a local drive? Something cloud? A NAS?
If a NAS, does it have or support any type of "recycle bin"?
Were you deleting to Recycle Bin or hard deleting?
(FWIW, 200 files is not a lot, nor is 3GB.)

Re: File -> Delete lots of files locks up - 1321a
Was this an issue in other versions of Everything?
Everything is stuck in the file operation being performed by the OS.
I'm wondering if there's a hidden system dialog somewhere (behind the Everything window, or flashing in the taskbar)?
-Maybe an "are you sure you want to delete" dialog, or maybe an "Unable to delete file abc.txt" dialog?
Maybe a hidden UAC prompt? (please check the taskbar)
Is the Everything tray icon responsive?
-If so, there is likely a hidden dialog somewhere.
Please try disabling IFileOperation in Everything:

Please try disabling IFileOperation in Everything:
- Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
/file_operation=0 - Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
- If successful, file_operation=0 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
Re: File -> Delete lots of files locks up - 1321a
There might be an issue with Everything adding operations to the Everything undo history.
