Win10 Dark-mode Not Detected

It was all working before, but after an odd system crash, now Everything just doesn't detect that the system is in dark-mode.

It used to just automatically detect it and switch.

The windows Settings app is correct. Other apps are displaying dark mode properly.
The registry values for dark mode are correct.

I've tried re-installing Everything.

Help me diagnose this please. I'm getting blinded at night.

You'll need Everything 1.5 for dark mode.

To force dark mode:

• In Everything 1.5, from the View menu, under the Theme submenu, check Dark.

I must be confused then, because yeah, you're right, I'm only on the latest stable release.

Switching to 1.5 now........
