es.exe and Result Omissions

Post by Alex_Void »

I am using the most current version of es.exe (v1.1.0.26) on the command line. With Emacs and helm.

You have implemented the wonderful version 1.5 of Everything. I love it and use it every single day!

One of the many nice new features of 1.5 compared to 1.4 is the Result Omissions. This feature is not yet implemented for es.exe. Are you planning doing this or did I miss something and this is already implemented?

BTW, about all the "instance 1.5a" stuff: I disabled this and am using the v1.5 exclusively. As written here:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12478
alpha_instance=0
...and it is working great!

you can add
!omit-results:
to your search querey to view only the results that are not omitted.

Likewise, when looking for results that *are* omitted, add
omit-results:

omit-results:

YES, this works!

I used the help being listed using
es.exe -h

And did not understand, that also
es.exe
has the same options than
Everything.exe

Thanks a lot!
