Since a file name can't contain any of these characters, is there a way to ignore them in search box?
At least ignore the ones that don't have any other functions.
Is there a way to add custom characters to ignore?
Re: Is there a way to add custom characters to ignore?
I don't understand the idea behind this request ?
As said file names can't contain such characters,
so you will never type them to search for names.
All thia special characters have a function in Everything,
so they can't be ignored.
Re: Is there a way to add custom characters to ignore?
Titles of some academic papers have those characters.
If the title I copy and paste has one or more of the characters, even if I have the file, Everything will not return any result.
If they have a function in Everything, can it be turned off? Or add custom characters to ignore?
If it's too much of a request, forget what I said.
Thanks for replying.

cntl-shift-v will paste without these characters (and all other punctuation)
