[Suggestion]"views as" panel

In 1.5a the possibility of having a left side filter panel with all options of search always opened (Everything, video, audio etc) was for me a great addition, much faster selection than the filter bar.

I would love to have the possibility of having the same type of panel for "View as": details, medium thumbnails, large thumbnails, extra large thumbnails. I believe it will make navigation and searching for a file much faster for many people.

As I'm new here, but a kind of long time user, I want to say Everything is one of the most amazing software to add to windows. Thank you so much!

In the meantime ..
'CTRL + scrollwheel' loops through the available views. Maybe that is something that fits your workflow?

Thanks, I'll try that. I also know there is a keyboard shortcut, but sometimes you're already with the mouse in your hand.

No problem (at all). It is more for inner "bookkeeping" (we might move suggestions to the Suggestions forum later on).

But we (admins) can't just sneakily edit someone else's post; that is bad forum-etiquette.

And sometimes some users are just temporarily operating without a keyboard

Like when laying in bed and watching from offline source thud coping and then pasting some title for a quick change. [To me this happens all the time]

So one more way of accessing such option will be a bliss for some, especially those with physical disabilities
