Space remaining on disk

I'm not sure if this is available somewhere or not; I did search for it. I've used Cathy for years with Search Everything. The only reason I'm still using Cathy is I can see how much space is left on a hot swapped drive without having to load it. Is this information somewhere I could view within Search Everything 1.5?

I have on my TODO list to keep track of volume information. (free disk space)

Everything will only keep indexed volume information between restarts.

Please consider indexing Free Disk Size:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  Click the Properties tab on the left.
• Click Add....
• Search for: free
• Select Free Disk Size and click OK.
• Check Include folders.
• Uncheck Include files.
• Change Exclude folders to: **\**
  (This will make Everything only index free disk size for root folders)
• Click OK.

To search for root folders, include the following in your search:
root:



indexing free disk size.
updating indexed free disk size.

Yes, too many users were clicking the indexes tab and then looking on the indexes option page for properties.

Well, I am from the opposite aisle: I read you instructions and keep looking for the first level entries and not for nested ones

The above means I'll still be keeping Cathy
