Hi, that didn't work, but I did finally get it to install using run as administrator instead of run as service.
In the past I had it running as a service.

This issue can occur when there is a pending delete on the Everything Service.
An uninstall, restart and reinstall will fix the issue.
In your case, please try restarting your PC and please make sure Everything is installed correctly and running as a standard user:

- Restart your PC.
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the General tab on the left.
- Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything.
- Uncheck Run as administrator.
- Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
- Click OK.
- Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
- Restart Everything.
