Could one create a shortcut to automatically update (the column) "Available free disk size"?

Could one create a shortcut to automatically update (the column) "Available free disk size" for all connected drives (before removing them)? Best for all instances at once?

F5 (View | Refresh) [keyboard shortcut], does that do it?

(I've got to ask, why would one even want to see that data?)

Code: Select all

 NDIR.EXE, Version 2.54

                               Disk Drive Summary

file sys total space free space [Cluster Size] UNC path
   ========  ==================  ==================  ========================
c: NTFS 927,332,298,752 351,989,768,192 [ 4096] RUBEN
d: BluRayRom no media present
e: NTFS 96,635,711,488 41,148,112,896 [ 4096] WIN7
g: NTFS 77,309,370,368 7,442,657,280 \\Rubenxp43\c\

Many thanks!

This really refreshes (updates) "Available free disk size"? Think that doesn't work here. I can update "Available free disk size" by pressing CTRL+F5, but I have to select the drives in each instance before pressing. A shortcut would be good that would update all "Available free disk sizes" for ALL drives (connected) by pressing it one time.

To get / have the actual information about the free disk space. It would be unusable / needless to have the wrong free disk space shown for me.

Code: Select all

 NDIR.EXE, Version 2.54

                               Disk Drive Summary

e: NTFS 96,635,711,488 41,148,112,896 [ 4096] WIN7

How / where did you get that data? What should I glean from this presentation?

Well, I don't know? If it does, then maybe something could be done with that?

Just an old DOS program, NDIR color directory lister.
Glean, well, it shows free space of my drives.

Many thanks for the link.

OK, good, somehow sounds irritatigng / kind of odd, very sorry for that, I am afraid at the moment (and of course generally) I absolutely do not understand anything.

Thank you very much so far anyway!
