Custumn column commands tied to specific different search paths

Post by anmac1789 »

Hello, instead of custom columns syntaxes being shown for all paths..what if a different custom column is tied to one of the paths? For example,

path 1 to search: C:\Users\original files\
path 2 to search: D:\external hdd\copid files\original files\

Let's say I'm using one of the MID() commands from excel and using it within everything as a customn column and I want to search for all files and folders within the ..Users\original files\ from C drive and ...copied files\original files\ from the D drive into a customn column. But, I want to add both types of customn columns because the C drive paths start from 2nd slash and the D drive paths start from 3rd slash. How can I do this?

You asked several similar questions on this forum. One or more of the answers you got on these questions should definitely be able to help you.

I understand what you mean I did post similar questions but this is not the same question. It is an extension of similar type of questions. This question is I believe related to regex but, in deeper subdirectory matching.

See this thread.

Could you explain what the difference is between these two?
