It would be great if you could have a set of snippets - basically nothing fancy, a single textarea box to enter, with each snippet being on a line (incl. spaces which you'd maybe eventually want to show as dots). Then in the Search bar you could right click any point and select a snippet to insert it. If only a few they could appear directly on the right-click, or else as a Snippets menu item which creates a popup. I generally prefer popups to submenus where count of entries is unlimited, and in theory could have a searcher in such a popup.
For example if there are certain functions or statements you use a lot such as parent: or have difficulty remembering, then you'd just right-click (or a keyboard shortcut would trigger) and click the snippet and it appears as if you had typed it.
The snippet edit box could be placed as an Options entry category or perhaps under Bookmarks ("Manage Snippets...")

Re: Snippets
For now you can use the Quick Access Popup: https://www.quickaccesspopup.com/
Re: Snippets
I will consider snippets.
Thank you for the suggestion.
It sounds similar to the "search builder" UI that is on my TODO list.
