Hi Forum,

where in the Everything Settings can I define the abbreviation "cont:" for "Content:", for example?

As a Bookmark:
  • In Everything, from the Bookmarks menu, click Add to bookmarks....
  • Change the Name to: My Content Macro
  • Change the Search to: content:search:
  • Change the Macro to: cont<search>
  • Click OK.
As a Macro (no UI):
  • Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
    /define cont<search>=content:search:
  • Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
  • If successful, cont<search>=content:search: is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
/define
