Copy parent folder only

Hi, is it possible to add

Copy parent folder only without the need the full path

i wish there is away to copy the parent dir of a file or of a folder like

if path is

MAIN\FOLDER\FILE.MP3

wish there is options just to copy the parent dir which is ====> FOLDER

without edit the path after copying

That will very likely be possible in a future version of Everything. For now:

- right-click the result list header (for example on 'Name')
- Select Add Colums
- In the Search field at the top, type parent
- Select Parent Name
- Press OK

- Right-click an entry in the Parent Nema column
- Select Copy Parent Name

Now FOLDER will be on the clipboard.


You can make Everything to always show the Parent Name column:
- Go to menu:Tools > Options > General > Home
- Click the Columns Select button
- Add Parent Name
