Video metadata

Post by anmac1789 »

Hello, everyone, I would like to know if there is a metadata that shows the exact time (or as close as possible time) a video was first recorded. Is it the media created ? Is this is set when the video is first recorded or after the video has finished recorded ?

Please try Media Created.

Media Created is the same as the Windows Property System: System.Media.DateEncoded property.

This property is not always set.
-It's up to the encoder to set this property.

To view all property values for a specific file:
Select a video file.
Right click the result list column header and click Add Columns....
In the Select Property dialog, right click the column header and click Preview.
Sort by Preview.
(it may take several seconds)
Examine the properties and values to see if the desired date is shown.
