network address

hi how can i use this search tool in my network address for example \\10.10.30.50
there is located place in the everything tool
but it doesnt work

To add your network share to your Everything index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Select your \\server\share and click OK.
• Click OK.

hi again now i notice that there is no availebility to add network address but for the first time it shows all my network address in add buttom in option but now it doesnt show this address but in my computer i can see it as map network address
how can i solve it

You will be unable to see mapped network drives if Everything is running as administrator.

Please make sure Everything is installed correctly and running as a standard user:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab on the left.
• Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything.
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
• Click OK.
• Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
• Restart Everything.

Please make sure Everything is running as a standard user:

• Right click your Everything.exe or a shortcut to Everything
• Click Properties.
• Click the Compatibility tab.
• Uncheck Run this program as an administrator.
• Click OK.

• Click the Shortcut tab.
• Click the Advanced button.
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Click OK.

• Uncheck Run this program as an administrator.

Please try manually adding your mapped network drive

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Manually type in your mapped network drive or network share (for example: J: ) and click OK.
• Click OK.

Hi first of all i appreciate the time you spent for answering my question and i want you to know that i did everything you send me step by step. but it did not work then i thought as you said maybe it is because of portable file so i download it again (from Persian site as i used to) and install it . good news is that for this time and today it works thank you so much i will aware you if i face any problem
