How could one find the text in the Preview?

Post by Biff »

After finding the text with the content search and showing it in the "Preview", how could one find the text in the Preview?

Everything uses the system to render previews.

This is currently not possible with the stock preview handlers.

There might be third party preview handlers with search functionality.

Everything may have its own text preview handler with content highlighting in a future release.

Everything uses the system to render previews.
So the operating system, Win, renders them.
This is currently not possible with the stock preview handlers.
So these handlers, do not know what that is, only show a part of the text that Everything content indexes? And although Everything displays the text, if I understand correctly, a part of it, a word, a phrase, cannot be searched in Everything.
Everything may have its own text preview handler with content highlighting in a future release.
OK, sounds great!
