Hello!
Firstly, let me say how much I love everything - as someone with a bit of coding knowledge it is baffling to me how you manage to pull the searches of so quickly and without hogging the system - respect!
But my main reason for opening this post is that I would love to integrate the everything search into my explorer window search bar (Win11). I know that the context menu "Search Everything..." does exactly what windows search would do, but so much faster. So why not dunk the ms-search entirely and use Everything for.... well, everything!
I know that there is a taskbar plugin to use Everything in the taskbar search, but I am not aware of any way to integrate it into windows Explorer. If anyone knows something, or if some developer is working on it, would be glad to know!
Cheers!
Any plugin or options to integrate Everything into the explorer search bar?

I made a QTtabbar plugin to have a search box in my "command bar". See screenshot:
I could upload when I'm on my other laptop where it's at.

Hello Skodd, I'm really interested in your plugin integrating Everything. Could you share the plugin please?

fyi, the everything icon in my screenshot is not part of it, it's a separate button.

Thank you very much Skodd for sharing it!
Unfortunately it didn't work on my environment. Maybe because I have Everything installed in a different location than yours?
C:\Program Files\Everything\Everything.exe
I'll try to solve it.
