adding custom columns

Post by kosp »

hello to all
new here and frankly i dont undrestand much about how to do things custom in the program

i would like to ask firstly if its possible to add columns like name path size etc
columns that draw the info from the details of the folder such as duration of a file if it has like a video
and the frame of the video or the frame of a picture 1920x1080 or single width length 1920 and 1080 seperatly

if its possible please tell me if there is a guide here to follow how to add those in the program
and if there is no guide if anyone is willing to tell me how to do it , one example and i will replicate it

it could be easier for the program to have all the details windows search have as columns so a noob like me can use all the possible selections.

thanks i hope you can help me

Everything 1.5 will support properties.

Right click the result list column header and click Add Column...
Select a property and click OK.

Right click the new column header and click Search property....

yes i saw that
i was using the 1.4 version and didnt use the new one
i donwloaded and installed the 1.5 version and i found all i was looking for

but it still have some issues meaning it doesnt load all the files properties but only what it sees in the screen

and it takes a lot to load the sorting for example by duration or will not do it at all if you have a lot of files

the problem is that it doesnt load the properties at once like it does for the size so everything else you must wait A LOT

You can index the properties, to avoid waiting for search or sort.
