[FEATURE REQUEST] Customize row highlight color when window is inactive
[FEATURE REQUEST] Customize row highlight color when window is inactive
When using Everything to go through multiple files, it can be difficult to see where you are in the list when in another program and Everything is unfocused, since the row highlight changes color and becomes lighter. I'd like it to stay the standard color, or be able to set the color, so it stays more visible when in the background.
Re: [FEATURE REQUEST] Customize row highlight color when window is inactive
To set the inactive selection color:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Fonts and colors tab on the left.
- Set Item to: Result List (If the Item option is shown)
- Select Inactive Selected.
- Choose a new background color.
- Click OK.

Thanks! Didn't realize all the various multi-leveled options there. Definitely going to have to mess with that.
I had a short list of features Everything was missing, only to find out about 1.5 and discover everything I wanted, and more, had already been done, and various other things I've found missing with the new features are already being worked on. This is truly an amazing piece of software, and between the years of help it's provided me and seeing how it's continuing to be improved, I was motivated to finally get around to donating. Thanks for everything you do!
