I deleted a few files in a folder, which are still listed in the index result. They were video files with thumbnail, but it showed the default video player thumbnail, when I clicked on the file, it showed me an error:
"Windows cannot find "path". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again"
I have double-checked the folder again; these files are not there and have been deleted. So why my index is not updating and removed the said files
File is indexed although already deleted

Re: File is indexed although already deleted
I'm pretty sure that Everything was correctly installed in the first place and have been using it pretty often.
So I decided to go to the second solution and it worked. I was thinking about a restart/reinforce/rebuild-like setting but have not been patient enough to go over the menu again. The solution works.
