Database refreshing on Windows 8 (and 8.1, and 8.1 Update 1)

Hi. I am using Windows 8 (actually 8.1, or 8.1 Update 1 since a few days) and any version of Everything I try shows the same issue: database stops refreshing. I have to exit and start it again to force database update. Otherwise it doesn't show newly downloaded files, still shows deleted files, doesn't recognize new names of renamed files, etc.

Running as administrator didn't solve it, nor running as a service (beta version).

Help, please...

Version 1.3.3.658b runs as service here in Windows 8.1 Update x64.
Deletions or additions of files are detected without problems.
Using it daily without missing files.
